USA Correspondence Law School
As of July 1998, there are 62 law schools in the state of California
but only 16 of them are approved by the American Bar Association
(ABA). Others are either accredited by the State (CBA) (which holds
the same status as ABA school in the said state), or simply unaccredited.
ABA or CBA schools' students need not take any 1st year exam (so called
"Baby Bar"). The exam covers Contract Law, Tort, Criminal Law and
Constitutional Law; and students of unaccredited law school or
correspondence UK LLB students need to take it.
