"PCLL is regarded as demanding; indeed it is considered to be the most difficult in the University [of Hong Kong]." --- The Report "The practical stage of legal education" by Law Society of Hong Kong.

London U (Ext.) LLB Programme

You can take 4 exams at the same sitting under route A and then change to B. In this case you only have to do tort and land (which is difficult) in year 2. 5 subjects in the second year is a bit challenging to me. Read the study guides, textbooks and casebooks first. You would then have a better idea. Have you read the criminal law textbook + casebook (Smith and Hogan) ?

If you dont have time to attend the course, most probably you wont have time to read the study materials. If it is the case, then you better stop here. Doing past papers is a must for LLB externals. It's a good exercise to test if you really understand what you have learnt from the textbook. But, I dont think one can pass the exam if he solely relies on the so-called "solution approach".
